People living in the Gulf Coast area of Texas and along the East Coast from Florida up to the New England states experienced severe rainfall and tornadoes beginning Friday and moving into Saturday. Some areas had nearly eight inches of rainfall while northeastern states had snow like the 17 inches that fell in Vermont.
